Basic Life Support (BLS) Transport provides non-emergency medical transportation for patients who are medically stable but need professional care during transport. Staffed by certified EMTs, BLS ensures safe monitoring, assistance with mobility, oxygen support, and patient comfort. It is ideal for hospital discharges, facility transfers, and medical appointments—delivering reliable, compassionate care and complete peace of mind every step of the way.
A load fee is a flat charge that covers the medical crew, equipment, and time required to assess, prepare, and safely load a patient into the ambulance. It applies regardless of distance traveled and reflects the professional care, resources, and readiness involved from the moment the patient is placed into our care.
A mileage charge is a distance-based fee calculated per mile traveled while transporting a patient. This charge covers the operational costs associated with the transport itself. Mileage is billed separately from the load fee and applies only to the distance driven during the patient transport.
Wait time is the period during which our medical crew remains with a patient after drop-off and before the return transport begins. This typically occurs when we stay with a patient during a medical appointment, event, or other scheduled stop. Wait time reflects the continued dedication of our crew, ambulance, and medical oversight while the patient remains in our care and unavailable for other transports.
Cancellations disrupt scheduled resources, crew availability, and vehicle readiness. To account for this commitment, cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time are subject to a $125 cancellation fee. Cancellations made at the door or at the time of pickup are subject to a $250 fee. These charges help offset costs associated with reserved personnel, equipment, and operational readiness.
A lift assist is a service provided when a patient requires help being safely lifted or moved due to limited mobility, physical condition, or safety concerns. This service involves trained medical personnel using proper techniques and equipment to prevent injury to the patient and caregivers. A lift assist does not include medical transport and is focused solely on safe patient movement and support.
Cancellations disrupt scheduled resources, crew availability, and vehicle readiness. To account for this commitment, cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations made at the door or at the time of pickup are subject to a $200 fee. These charges help offset costs associated with reserved personnel, equipment, and operational readiness.
Medical standbys provide on-site emergency medical coverage for events, facilities, or activities where immediate care may be needed. Our trained EMTs remain ready and equipped to assess, treat, and stabilize patients as situations arise. Standbys help ensure safety, rapid response, and peace of mind for organizers, participants, and families by having professional medical care available at all times.
